The second biggest insult in this series (after the whole rape-ish vibe) is the episode where one of the insane vamps (I won't even bother remembering their names) sings Scarborough Fair. The music is really forgettable, and the only bgm I can remember is one that sounds like the singer is groaning (even the music is annoyed with this anime). I mean, if you had to say those stupid lines and keep whimpering like a fool, then no matter how much effort you put in it, it won't sound good, so I blame the script. The voiceacting doesn't shine, but that is not really the voiceactors fault. The animation is simple, and overall, it just looks cheap (which hadn't been such a big problem to me if everything else was OK, but no). The design doesn't stand out to other anime, the place where the vampires live is kind of cool, but everything else in the background is just plain and boring. oh and did you know, one of the main guys calls the main girl " bitch-chan".
She is to dumb to care for, while the male characters are to cruel and insane to care for (even if it would turn out that they have tragic pasts, they would still be sadistic, possesive assholes. She is terrified! At the same time I can't symphatize with her, because she stays in that freaking place just because she wants answers. They force themselves on the main lead, and she doesn't blush or act like she likes it at all. Is it meant for extremly masochistic girls (as in more masochistic than me)? Because I can't see how it is possible to enjoy this series unless you like the fantasy of being trapped in a house with a group of insane vampires who want to rape you.
